Jeff has earned the American Meteorological Society's prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation, a professional recognition of the quality of his weather forecasts. He went on to follow his dream, majoring in Atmospheric Science at Cornell University and broadcasting live weather forecasts for Newswatch 16, the student-run television station at nearby Ithaca College. It began as snow that arrived Sunday night. Jeff is a native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, where extreme New England weather sparked his interest in meteorology at an early age.
